Aaliyah Haughton made headlines in 1994, when she dropped her debut album Age Ain't Nothing but a number. The singer was only 15 at the time and the album became Gold. The collaboration was highly inspired by R. Kelly, and put the singer onto the scene. In 1996 Jermaine Durpri along with Timbaland collaborated to produce the second album of hers, One In A Million. This album featured If Your Boyfriend Only Knew as the single number one. Aaliyah gained notoriety as an R&B vocalist after the release. She was a part of the romance and action movie Romeo Must Die alongside martial artists Jet-Li. Joel Silver, film producer and director of the movie Romeo Must Die spotted her during an awards event. She was in 2002 when she was in the Anne Rice-based thriller Queen of the Damned. The year 2003 saw her was as a character in The Matrix Reloaded and The Matrix Revolutions. Aarti Mann is an Indian American of the first generation from Connecticut. Mann the stage name is an abbreviation for Mankad, her married surname. Aarti Magnumdar, her formal name, but she is also known as Aarti Magumdar for her stage name. While her initial career was filled with minor movie and TV roles, she gained more notoriety in the late 2000s. In addition to The Big Bang Theory her most notable work includes Leverage (2012) Suits (2013) and Grey's Anatomy (2017). The actress also appeared in a variety of commercials, including Volvo and other major automobile brands. She lives in Los Angeles along with her wife, son and daughter. She also pursues her acting career.
