Aaliyah Dana Haughton came into fame in 1994 after she released her debut Album Age Ain't Nothing But A Number. At the time, she was just 15 years old. when the album was released and it became Gold. R. Kelly was a major influence on this collaboration that put her in the spotlight. In 1996, she collaborated with Jermaine Dupri and Timbaland to record her follow-up album One In A Million which included the top-rated hit song If Your Girl Only Knew. With the debut of the album Aaliyah received international recognition for her work as an R&B artist. She was a part of the romantic action film Romeo Must Die alongside martial arts legend Jet-Li. The role was offered to her when she was spotted by film producer Joel Silver at an awards event. In 2002, she appeared in the vampire movie Queen of the Damned based on the Anne Rice book. The Matrix Sequels saw her playing Zee, after appearing in The Matrix Reloaded (2003) and The Matrix Revolutions that same year. In 2001, 1999, 2002, and 2003 the singer was nominated for four Grammy awards. Aarti Mann.....................Aarti Mann also known as Aarti Majumdar is an American actor who is best known for her portrayal of Priya Koothrappali in the popular TV series The Big Bang Theory. She was born in Connecticut to a family of Indian descent. Mann is the abbreviation for her first name in marriage, Mankad. Aarti Magnumdar is her formal name. However, she has also used Aarti Magumdar. Though she started her career by playing minor film and television performances, her acting career picked up growth in the latter half of 2000s. She has also appeared in Leverage, Suits, Grey's Anatomy and Grey's Anatomy. She also appeared in several commercials, including Volvo as well as other major auto brand names. She lives in Los Angeles where she continues acting as an actor.
